The County has ZERO TOLERANCE for all types of employment discrimination, particularly sexual harassment.  The Office of Affirmative Action Compliance will lead this four-hour workshop. The Sexual Harassment Prevention Program is intended for managers, supervisors, Affirmative Action coordinators, Advocacy staff, analysts, and all employees. Participants will review Federal and State laws and regulations as well as the Los Angeles County Policy on Sexual Harassment. Participants will learn the types of sexual harassment, the consequences that result from perpetrating sexual harassment, and appropriate measures that can be taken to address and prevent such harassment.

The program content includes the following topics:

  • Los Angeles County Policy on Sexual Harassment
  • Types of Sexual Harassment
  • Consequences of Sexual Harassment
  • Identifying Responsibilities of Managers/Supervisors and Employees in Preventing Sexual Harassment
  • Filing and Handling Complaints of Sexual Harassment
